Molly Breen-Aronson

Development Coordinator

Hailing from Arlington, Massachusetts, Molly Breen-Aronson is a rising sophomore at Boston University, pursuing a dual degree in Viola Performance and International Relations. She studies with Dr. Daniel Doña. Molly began her musical studies at the age of 4 at the Longy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Molly is an avid chamber and orchestral player. She has been involved in many ensembles, including her own piano quartet as well as the Boston Youth Symphony, where she got the opportunity to be principal violist. Past performance venues have included Boston Symphony Hall, Sanders Theater, Tsai Performance Center and Kresge Auditorium. Currently, she performs with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra as well as a string quartet composed of other BU music students. During her time in various ensembles, Molly was introduced to contemporary music and even got to premiere various pieces such as Nicola Campogrande’s Sinfonia n. 2 “Un mondo nuovo” in addition to compositions by her colleagues. 

Molly is also involved in the Alexander Hamilton Society’s Boston University Chapter, where she discusses foreign policy and national security as well as attends discussions by guest speakers from various government departments. She was recently awarded a position within the U.S. Department of State’s Virtual Student Federal Service, where she will be helping promote American university education throughout Argentina. Molly is bilingual and makes it a priority to implement the Spanish language as a medium for increased access. She is a recipient of the Massachusetts Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction. One of Molly’s career goals is to be able to intersect her love of music with intercultural communication. 


2024 is Molly’s first summer with Juventas New Music Ensemble as an Arts Administration Intern. She loves helping manage performances as well as create social media content for the composers Juventas is involved with.
